EPUB is designed for
, meaning that the text display can be optimized for the particular display device used by the reader of the EPUB-formatted book. The format is meant to function as a single format that publishers and conversion houses can use in-house, as well as for distribution and sale.
ePub is a container or zipped file that can contain text, images, audio and video files.
To check what is contained inside the epub container:
1. change the extension from .epub to .zip - it is ok to accept the error that appears
2. unzip the container, and you will see separate files for the text, images, video and audio.

When students write in school, it is difficult to publish and share their work. The Library catalog at schools are now able to house ePub eBooks created by students that can be read and/or downloaded.
Publishing student work provides another avenue for students to share, collaborate and to learn from each other. 6th grade students have written their own poetry books, and share their favorite work
